The Orion Brand
Named after the constellation, Orion City draws inspiration from a symbol of aspiration and possibility. The three stars of Orion’s Belt—Alnitak, Alnilam, and Mintaka—inspired the architectural concept behind Orion Towers.
That inspiration carries into our purpose: creating spaces where businesses can pursue their ambitions, expand their capabilities, and reach further.

The Anton Building adds a further 100,000 sq ft of workspace to the campus. Its LEED Silver certification reflects Orion City’s commitment to sustainable building practices.
Orion Tower Opens

Orion City expands its presence to Galle Road with fully equipped private offices, shared amenities, and meeting facilities in a convenient central Colombo location.
Orion Tower II Development Begins

Leadership / Our Team
The People Behind Orion City
With over 30 years of experience in the corporate sector, Milinda Wickremeratne oversees Orion City’s operations, bringing experience in financial management and property development. An accountant by profession, his background includes building design, construction, planning, and regulatory processes. Before joining the St. Anthony’s Group, he held finance and management positions at the Richard Pieris Group.
He joined the St. Anthony’s Group in 2006 and Orion Development (Pvt) Ltd in 2008.

Sudheera Bandara
Head of Marketing
Sudheera Bandara heads the Marketing department at Orion City, overseeing brand development, sales and marketing, digital communications, and tenant relationships. He focuses on strengthening Orion City’s market presence, attracting new businesses, and supporting its growing portfolio of office spaces and facilities.
Working closely with clients and internal teams, he helps businesses identify suitable workspace solutions and builds lasting relationships, while supporting the promotion of new developments and expansion projects.
He joined Orion City in 2022.
Indika Hettige heads Facilities Management at Orion City, bringing more than 20 years of professional experience. His focus includes customer service, operational efficiency, process improvement, and engineering resource management. His experience spans working with local businesses and multinational organisations, including the US Embassy and HSBC.
He joined Orion Development (Pvt) Ltd in June 2017.
